Rose looked to see Piper walking towards the river. Lifting her nose, she caught the scent of two stallions over the hill side. Both mares looked at each other before kicking off into a canter, going over the ridge. They let out a whinny, kicking and bucking.

The tri-coloured painted mare stopped by her friend, flicking her painted tail at the flies. She looked to the other stallion. A small smile on her face.
